The Uday Foundation is a non-profit organization based in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2007 by the parents of Arjunuday, a child born with multiple congenital disorders.
The Foundation works for the welfare of Children with medical needs, support and dignity to homeless and disaster relief. Currently, we are working in Delhi, NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
Our primary areas of work are - health needs of underprivileged children and women, health camps for homeless and underprivileged who find it difficult to reach the hospitals and working for disaster relief and humanitarian aid, with primary response efforts focussed on Food, shelter, water, sanitation and emergency supplies to the victims.
We also run our ‘Share and Care’ campaign providing basic clothes, blankets, dry ration and dignity kits to the underprivileged patients in Government hospitals, to the people living in open on streets and night shelters in Delhi/NCR and other major parts of Northern India with support of our Volunteers, corporate and individual donors.
