On 15th May 2011, Fortis Foundation organized a solidarity walk in association with the nurses of Fortis Network Hospitals at India Gate, New Delhi. More than 550 people, including 500 nurses from 7 facilities of Fortis in Delhi/NCR (Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Fortis Ft. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, Fortis La Femme, Fortis Hospital Noida, Fortis Escorts Faridabad, Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital and Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh) participated in this walk. Dr. N.V. Kamat, Director, Directorate of Health Services, Government of NCT of Delhi flagged off the walk from India Gate that concluded at Jantar Mantar. This walk aimed at generating support towards the cause of creating awareness on importance of immunization amongst general population including patients within the hospitals and people in the community.

Over 100 nurses of Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai organized a walkathon to create awareness on importance of immunization. The walkathon was flagged off by Dr.G.Prabhakaran, senior consultant pediatrician in Fortis Malar.
